Snow Plotted a map of all deaths from Cholera in Soho

 

Drew on the water pumps

 

Noted the cluster distribution round the Broad St. pump, (now called Broadwick St.)

 

Had the handle removed from the Broad St. pump

 

The epidemic ended

 

Demonstration of association to indicate aetiology

 

Lowered morbidity and mortality rates
